This is the year to commit to your home renovation

For the construction industry, the past two years have been a struggle. There’s no other way to paint it! Rolling lockdowns, supply issues, workforce shortages and price increases have been felt across the industry, and of course then onto clients and those looking to renovate.

With various restrictions resulting in limited on-site work taking place, you may have put starting a renovation off. Of course, uncertainty isn’t the best climate to be making a huge financial commitment in. You may have even given up planning all together.

Without being able to meet with builders in person, or visit showrooms or display homes for inspiration, it makes total sense. It’s much easier to decide on a builder when you can meet them in person and discuss your vision with the people who will make your dream home a reality.

However, there’s good news. As we move into 2023 and have lived with a sense of “normalcy” over the last year, things are looking up! So is this the year that you can commit to your home renovation?

If you’ve decided to take that step and renovate your home this year, our number one tip would be to enlist the help of an expert! This might be an architect or a draftsperson to discuss your plans or a builder to get an idea of options and costings. No matter how big or small your project is, you will set yourself up for the best result possible if you get it right from the beginning.

If this sounds like you, but you’re feeling overwhelmed, let us help. If you’ve reached the stage of your renovation planning where you want to get some quotes, please get in touch today! We've also got some great information that can help you get started including timeframes and budgets, and how Hammertime approaches the quoting process.
